Luke 12: Wait For The Master

I. Leaven of Pharisees v.1-3 II. Have no fear - acknowledge Christ v.4-12 III. Seek his kingdom, sell possessions v.13-34 - one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. IV. Be ready for Christ's return v.35-48 - servant managing his master's possessions. - given much, much is required. - take care of your master's household V. The Divided Family v.49-53 VI. Signs of times v.54-56 - Don't you know what time it is?! VII. Settle with accusters v.57-59 Christ will return and settle accounts with his servants. - He will acknowledge those who acknowledge him. - Comes at a time you do not expect. - See your possessions as a steward of the master's goods. - You have an obligation to provide for the needy and care for the master's household. - given much - much will be required. - John the Baptist - two tunics, food... App - acknowledge Christ - Seek the Kingdom - Steward your Master's goods.
