Luke 18

The parable of the persistent widow teaches confident perseverance in prayer while questioning whether the Son of Man will find faith on earth at His return. The Pharisee and tax collector parable contrasts self-righteous pride with humble repentance, illustrating justification by faith alone. Jesus's blessing of children and encounter with the rich ruler demonstrate kingdom values that often contradict worldly priorities.
