Luke 2:41-52 is the only account of Jesus as a boy, amazing the religious leaders in the temple with His answers to their questions. This is a pivotal point in Jesus' life: He's coming into His identity, awakening to the truth of who He is. And for all their amazement, the religious leaders don't see what was going on right in front of them. What are we of Open Door awakening to? As we look throughout the room and the story of our church on this last Sunday of 2018, what is growing? What seeds have been sprouting that we can notice, water, and call out as a gift God has given us?
