Luke 2:1-20 / Kam Pugh One of the first announcements of Jesus’ miraculous birth is to a group of shepherds. Probably not soft or cuddly, respected or even valued by the society, the shepherds made an unlikely audience for the announcement of the birth of a King. However, the Lord’s humility flips the world’s social order on its head, and works miraculously through those who are weak and despised in this world.
