Luke 5 - Peter Called

In this episode, we explore Peter’s call to follow Jesus through John 1 and Luke 5, tracing his journey from curious observer to committed disciple. We examine how Andrew’s simple invitation, Jesus’ miraculous catch of fish, and Peter’s recognition of his own unworthiness all point to the transforming power of Christ’s call. The discussion challenges listeners to ask three searching questions: What are you seeking? Who are you following? Are you doing things God’s way? Along the way, we consider the importance of sharing the gospel, the cost of discipleship, and the danger of settling for a comfortable faith that never moves beyond the church walls. Whether you’ve followed Christ for years or are still exploring who He is, this message is a call to leave the nets behind, trust Jesus even when it doesn’t make sense, and embrace His invitation to become a fisher of men.
