Luke 6- Produce Good Fruit
from Messages with Pastor Micah Hosted by Pastor Micah Smith
Jesus says that every tree is known by its fruit. But what does good fruit actually look like in the life of a Christian, and where does it come from? In Luke 6:43–45, Jesus points beyond outward religious behavior to the heart from which our words and actions grow. Looking also at James 1 and Galatians 5, Pastor Micah Smith explores how God changes the heart through His Word and produces fruit through His Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Christian life isn’t about manufacturing good fruit through our own strength. God changes our hearts so that our lives produce fruit that displays His work to the world.
