Luke 6 - Setting the Example

Jesus calls His followers to live differently from the world around them. In Luke 6:27–36, He gives us a challenging command: love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. But Jesus doesn’t ask us to do something He was unwilling to do Himself. At the cross, Christ loved His enemies, prayed for those who persecuted Him, endured mistreatment without retaliation, and gave for people who could never repay Him. In this message, we look at how Christians can show the world the love that Christ first showed us.
