Luke Chapters 17-18

In this episode, we read Luke chapters 17 and 18, where Jesus teaches about faith, gratitude, persistence, and humility. He calls His followers to live with forgiveness and unwavering faith, showing that even small faith can have great impact. We see this lived out as Jesus heals ten lepers, yet only one returns to give thanks — highlighting the importance of gratitude. Jesus also teaches through parables about persistent prayer and humble dependence on God, contrasting the attitudes of pride and sincerity. As the chapters continue, we witness powerful moments such as the blessing of children and the encounter with the rich ruler, emphasizing the need for childlike faith and complete trust in God. Luke 17–18 reminds us that faith is not just belief, but a lifestyle of humility, gratitude, persistence, and surrender.
