Luke McNeillie Signs With Mets | Florida Gator Basketball News

Luke McNeillie, the 152nd pick in the 2026 MLB Draft, is officially a pro after signing a $497,500 contract with the New York Mets — a sweet deal for his draft slot. The Florida pitcher, who posted a career-low 3.97 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 34 innings during his standout 2026 season, was a preseason All-American and All-SEC pick. Scouts praised his power stuff and developing off-speed arsenal, and now he’s heading to the Mets’ system with big expectations — aiming to make it to the majors from his Milton, Georgia roots.
