Luke: They Lost Jesus
from The Mission North Shore - Current Teaching Hosted by The Mission North Shore
Aloha and welcome to The Mission North Shore's podcast! In this exploration of Jesus' childhood, we delve into the profound moment when the 12-year-old Messiah declares, 'Did you not know that I had to be in my Father's house?' This pivotal scene from Luke 2 marks Jesus' growing awareness of His divine identity and mission. As we reflect on this, we're challenged to consider our own spiritual growth and understanding of who we are in Christ. The sermon unpacks how Jesus, though fully God, voluntarily limited His divine attributes to fully experience humanity. This reminds us that just as Jesus grew in wisdom through prayer and communion with the Father, we too must cultivate a deep prayer life to discern God's will for our lives. How might our relationship with God transform if we approached Him with the same dedication and intimacy that Jesus demonstrated? God bless and have a great week!
