Lutalo Interview

Lutalo Jones is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist for the ages, so when Weadee and I received the opportunity to talk after their show opening for Claud, we were more than excited. There is a certain essence that clearly runs through the music of Lutalo. Beyond the tangy guitar and the fuzzy distortions, they present a genuine heart to everything they touch. We are honored to have connected with a fellow Black creative. It's in these moments of shared inspiration that we discover the true magic of creativity and community. Their latest work AGAIN (2023) is an endless bop as well :) We play it from top to bottom during the episode, but be sure to check it out on your own too! (TL;DR- pls listen because weadee spent so long editing) Catch a new episode live every week on CJAM 99.1FM (Windsor/Detroit) and Met Radio (Toronto) Hosted on Acast.
