I have been tapping back into my roots of music, and for me that stems back to gospel music. What I quickly realized is there is something about harmonies and choirs that gives me chills when done right, and it just makes me all happy inside. The more I was digging in preparing for this episode, I knew it would come at the start of the year, and what better way to kick off 2025 then with some feel good harmonies, and giving some shine to the back-up vocalists on songs? I also feel like it takes a special professional to be a feature, or sing back up and absolutely crush it, but still not outshine the main artist. Then again, I just finished the new Jamie Foxx special on Netflix, and it reminded me that tomorrow is not promised. So who knows? God knows.
