Based on the film, Morocco, from 1930 which also starred Marlena, but with Gary Cooper in the Clark Gable role. Legionnaire & Morocco are based on the 1927 novel, Amy Jolly, by Benno Vigny.The story is about a cabaret singer and a Legionnaire who fall in love during the Rif War, and whose relationship is complicated by his womanizing and the appearance of a rich man who is also in love with her.Next week will be the drama titled Jezebel, from The Academy Award Theater program.
