from The ProcrastiN8r Podcast

Here’s the story of PRO-crastin8r Colby Williams, founder of Parengo Coffee, who’s making money in his lazy n’ chill coffee drinking lifestyle. Education is not necessary to be successful Moved around college 3 times Was the guy that showed up late with a cup of coffee and a cell phone and NO books Eventually graduated with a degree in Journalism. He says going to school was “one hundred percent” not necessary Started a dating coach service in college Do something you love to do as a consumer. “I’m not really a fan of the whole passion thing. II still haven’t really found like the thing I’m most passionate about” Being in a small town doesn’t limit your growth You can become a “destination” tourist attraction for people in your niche Do it Cheap Buy used equipment. 75% of small businesses fail within the first 2 years. Buy old stuff from these failures on the cheap, like a vulture. Follow C.O.U.C.H. Ambition Don’t waste time making decisions. Be decisive. It takes more work to debate and argue over or second guess decisions “This is the color of my wall and that’s gonna be the color of my wall. There’s no anxiety over it.” Don’t be afraid to take risks, financially and socially. Be cool, calm, and collected. It’s better to make your own mistakes and own up to them than to have your boss make mistakes and suffer the consequences of his mistakes Small Town Big Money Book: https://smalltownbook.com/ Parengo Coffee: https://www.parengocoffee.com/ Music: And They Lived Happily Ever After · Shockwave-Sound Kevin Macleod
