Lvl 76: How to Detect a Bullsh**er

We keep it straight as procrastin8rs because lying is too much hard work. I mean unless of course we're lying in bed. But there is a lot of bullshit out there in the world. And a lot of people that create bullshit. I mean, look, I'll be straight when it comes to building any sort of meaningful relationship with other people, you have two options: 1) Invest months or even years of trust into a person,pouring your heart out, building a relationship (business, friendship,or romantic) only to have them betray you in a big and impactful (not to mention hurtful) way 2) Learn how to detect bullshit. Now I think you've stayed on Lazy Island long enough to know which of those options is better. There's no sense in going about things the hard way of jumping through hoops only to have everything you believed in to be a lie. I think you can agree with the sentiment of "fuck that" If you think about all the times anyone has ever hurt you,or has just simply wasted your time, it probably has some level of bullshit, some level of dishonesty tied within. Save yourself the heartache and learn to detect if they are the type of person to throw bullshit at you in the first place, before investing heavily into them financially or emotionally. If you can detect bullshit then you can also detect honesty, and honesty is what you want to attract in your life. It just makes life a lot easier to be with people you can actually trust.
