Bev is a Michigan native and who's dad exposed her to law. After Undergrad Bev moved to California where she attended University of San Diego School of Law. After working in a few areas of law, Bev spent a bulk of her career in the California Attorney General's office working in the Health Education and Welfare office. Her favorite work she did at the AG's office was running the Law Student Intern program where she realized the importance of mentoring law students. After retiring in 2015, Bev  realized she could help more law students and lawyers through mentoring and legal writing tips. So she started the amazing program, Legal Writing Launch.
