Lying Tongue – When Truth Gets Distorted

Lying Tongue – When Truth Gets Distorted Kingdom Now with Dr. John Carmichael What does it really mean that God hates “a lying tongue”? Is every lie the same? What about Rahab? And why does truth matter so deeply for Spirit-filled believers? In this sobering and Spirit-led episode, Dr. John Carmichael explores Proverbs 6:16–19 and unpacks why lying is not merely a moral issue—it’s a spiritual alignment issue. Jesus called the devil the father of lies, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. When truth is compromised, spiritual clarity dims and atmosphere shifts. From Rahab’s story to Ananias and Sapphira, from the belt of truth in Ephesians 6 to the eternal weight of Revelation 21:8, this message challenges believers to reject subtle distortions, image management, exaggeration, and spiritual spin. Truth is not optional. It is foundational. If we want revival, unity, and spiritual authority, we must become people of uncompromised truth. Listen now and allow the Spirit of truth to realign your words, your witness, and your spiritual atmosphere.
