Lyman Hall at Guilford - Girls Basketball - 12/14/17

It may not have been the way they drew it up, but the Guilford girls Basketball team will take it any way they can get it. Despite both teams committing more than 20 turnovers each, it was Guilford that found a way to gut out a 46-31 win over Lyman Hall for their first win of he season. Lyman Hall, led by Kailey Lipka (13pts), did try to make a game of it. However, they were just not willing to go inside and try to get points in the paint. Rather, they settled for moving the ball around the perimeter, hoping they would be able to find and open outside shot. That, coupled with the massive amount of turnovers, and Lyman Hall dug themselves a hole that would bury them in the end.Guilford did not fare much better. Although the point guard play of Julia Hyman(13 pts) steadied Guilford as they themselves were looking for some consistent offense.
