Lyman Hall at Staples - HS Hockey - 1/24/18

Wednesday night at the Milford Ice Pavilion saw the top 2 teams in Division 3 based on the WELI “Great 8” Poll in a playoff like atmosphere. Fans of both teams came in droves to to make their presence and their passion felt.The night however would belong to Lyman Hall. Making a strong claim to the top spot in Division 3, the Trojans defeated Staples 4-1 in convincing fashion. After falling behind early 1-0 Lyman Hall would use 4 unanswered goals to pull ahead and never look back. “Hummel HotDog Player of the Game” Kyle Roberts would have a hand in every goal as he scored two of the four goals and assisted on the other two scored by “Glenwood Drive-in Top Dog” winner Matt Petit.
