Araceli is a total liberation activist currently living in Los Angeles, CA. There she works as an Outreach Coordinator with individuals experiencing houselessness. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During that time she worked to achieve fair housing and assisted in changing a few laws, both at the local and state level. She believes that vegans need to become total liberationists if they want animal liberation and that it is their responsibility to lead this movement since they are the only ones with the ability to view social justice in a complete way. She has been an activist since 2003 but did not start organizing until 2005 at the age of 16 for animal liberation. Currently, she organizes a FREE radical book club Called #WokeBookWednedsay.
