M.N.F. LIONS @ 49ers XVII

Jared Goff and his Lions of Detroit are in Santa Clara California this Monday night to exact a bit of vengeance against Brock Purdy and his 49ers. The 9'ers are eliminated from post season contention at 6-9, losing their week XVI game in Miami Gardens Florida. The Lions are coming off their first win since losing to the BILLS in week XV. This is the 70th meeting of all time between these teams and the Lions last saw the 49ers celebrate their come from behind win as they were crowned NFC Champs in Jan. 2024. A year later it's the Lions who are the number seed in the upcoming NFL playoffs.
