انه اول مثلي علني من قطر ، الدكتور ناصر من الشخصيات التي خاضت معركة طويلة ضد القيود الاجتماعية والثقافية في سبيل حقوق مجتمع المثليين والمثليات ويعمل حاليا من الولايات المتحدة على دعم مجتمع الميم عين في الخليج . منذ البداية، واجه تحديات كبيرة، حيث كان عليه أن يقاوم التقاليد الراسخة والنظرة الاجتماعية السلبية تجاه هذه القضايا ليصبح اول شخص من قطر يعلن مثليته على الملئ. تعرض لهجوم شرس من قبل العديد من الأوساط الاجتماعية والدينية وهو في هذه الحلقة الاولى من بودكاست ميم عين يتحدث عن تجربته مع طارق بن عزيز السعودي الذي سجن في بلاده بسبب مثليته. As an openly gay man from Qatar, Dr Nasser has fought a long battle against social and cultural restrictions for the rights of the LGBT community and is currently working from the US to support the LGBT community in the Gulf. From the beginning, he faced great challenges, as he had to resist entrenched traditions and negative social perception towards these issues to become the first person from Qatar to come out publicly.
