M Trudeau announces surtax on Chinese EVs, reduction of temporary foreign workers

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks with reporters in Halifax, where he is attending a three-day retreat of the federal cabinet. He announces that Canada will be imposing a 100-per-cent tariff on Chinese-made electric vehicles (EVs) and a 25-per-cent tariff on Chinese steel and aluminum.
