MAC-SBC Challenge Returns This Fall | Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Basketball News

The MAC-SBC Challenge returns for its fourth season, kicking off the 2026-27 hoops year with Coastal Carolina’s men hosting Eastern Michigan and women traveling to face Western Michigan — a matchup that’s been dormant since 1991 for the men and brand new for the women. Each team gets one home and one away game, with second matchups dropping in January and February games featuring Sun Belt women vs. MAC men on home courts. Coastal Carolina’s women, who fell twice last season, aim to turn their 2-2 all-time record around. All games stream on ESPN. Full schedules to come later.
