Mace Windu and the Dangers of Dogma

The legendary Samuel L. Jackson has said that he wants to return as Jedi Master Mace Windu in some way. I personally would not want him to have survived his final fight with Palpatine. Why? Because I do not like Mace Windu. I'm not talking about acting, directing, and writing. I'm talking about a character so bound up in dogma that he has forgotten what the doctrine of the Jedi was all about.
