Her efforts led to an award and after receiving a degree in biochemistry, she moved to the island of Barbados to study the influence of gender and culture on type 2 diabetes. Mackenzie joins us to share her experience and insights from the IB Diploma Programme at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi.
