Macyn started her leadership journey at a young age and has continued to achieve her goals in academics and athletics. Macyn has been honoured for her cultural engagement and leadership through various awards including the Aboriginal Youth Achievement Award by the City of Calgary. Macyn has played for many national teams representing Alberta, and she was named the Top Defensive Rebounder in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, Athlete of the Week, among many other notable awards for her talents playing competitive Basketball and Hockey. Macyn sets an incredible example for many children and youth by working hard and staying focused on her studies.
