maDCap Trillectro Preview
from maDCap: David Ross & Dan Bloom Hosted by maDCap
Dan & David, salt & caramel, electronica & hip hop: pairings whose time has come. The second annual Trillectro festival happens on August 17 at the Half Street Fairgrounds across from Nationals Park. The concert extravaganza was conceived by DC to BC, a group of young visionaries who decided that Washington's disparate party scenes had been apart for long enough. Combining stellar electronic acts like NADASTROM, Alex Young and Tittsworth with top quality hip hop talent like Wale, Phil Adé & Travis Scott, Trillectro offers the best of both worlds to a unified audience of party people. DJ Carnage personifies both genres and stands as an example of a 21st century artist who perfectly centers the Trillectro venn-diagram. Dan & David preview the festival and share tracks from all the artists mentioned in addition to Misun, Shy Glizzy, DJ Sliink, Goldroom, & Casey Veggies.
