Dr Kent Hovind was raised in Peoria, Illinois who's father was the only survive in his platoon in WW2. He his mother took him too all kinds of church's so he could gleen from all of them. He found the Lord at 16 and became a Baptist preacher at about 20. He got married and his wife wanted to pursue a music career so they moved to Pensacola, Florida. The paper boy asked if he wanted the paper but Dr Hovind said he didn't need it. The boy insisted that if he ever had any extra he would throw it on his lawn. He received the paper one day to see the head line "Dinosaur bones discovered from 60 million years ago." He wrote a letter to the editor saying they were just simply fossils from Noah's flood. That letter got published and started a war in Pensacola. Him and professors kept going on back and forth until he was invited to debate some of the professors. His views were so well received that he kept getting asked to speak at church, eventually all over the world. So he quit his job and started his ministry.
