Madeline Stanley is a Project Officer with the International Institute of Sustainable Development and she is pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Manitoba doing her part to ensure that 3% of freshwater remains as pure and clean as possible. Headquartered in Winnipeg, the IISD is an award-winning independent think tank working to fulfill a bold commitment: to create a world where people and the planet thrive.
