Madhurima Vidyarthi on writing Munni Monster and why it is so important to write books that Keep It Real!

Madhurima Vidyarthi is a doctor by day and an author at every other time. Her debut book, My Grandmother's Masterpiece was a huge hit and addressed a topic we face in our daily lives. Her latest, Munni Monster has managed to surpass even that. In this book, Vidyarthi tells the story of 10-year-old Mishti whose idyllic life with her parents and her grandmother Thamma is suddenly upended by someone who comes to live with them. This relative is disabled and is unlike anyone Mishti has ever met. She now has to share her grandmother, her room, and even her favorite pastry with her!
