Madison considers “No Turn on Red” policy

On Wednesday, the Madison Transportation Commission received a presentation from city staff about different ways that the city might consider approaching right turns at red lights. WORT News Producer Faye Parks sat down with Tom Mohr, Madison’s assistant director of Traffic Engineering, to discuss the history of the right turn on red and the different approaches that municipalities can take with the practice.
