MAGIC ROUNDABOUT 5-31-2026 -PART THREE
from dj tom thump Hosted by dj tom thump
Ok, here is part 3 of my Mix for Andy Williams "MAGIC ROUNDABOUT" Radio Show from May 31, 2026. Moving away from the Adrian Sherwood sets to a more eclectic Soul sound. The great Saxaphonist Sonny Rollins had sadly just passed. So I included a Live performance where he collaborated with Leonard Cohen & Was (Not Was) on the great NBC TV Program from the late 90's, "Night Music". Note: The sound quality is not good on that last track, because I scared it off the web.) Amazing S. Rollins performance though. Listen for the circular breathing at the end! JOE PASS “A TIME FOR US” (BLACK HOLE EDIT) CHARLES EARLAND “MERCY” JACK HAMMER “SWIM” (SOUL FLIP EDIT) DUSTY DONUTS W-EMMA NOBLE “RUNNING AWAY” BRIAN AUGER “WHENEVER YOUR READY” (JOE CLAUSSELL OVERDUB MIX) LEONARD COHEN/SONNY ROLLINS (R.I.P.)/WAS (NOT WAS) “WHO BY FIRE” (OFF YOUTUBE-LIVE STUDIO RECORDING FROM “NIGHT MUSIC” SHOW NBC 1989)
