The Magic of Blood is a lesson you may already know with a few additional facts you might not have known! Blood has been used since the beginning of time for deity, Ancestor and ceremonial worship. Blood in magic is one of the most powerful tools you can use. Blood contains a person's DNA and a biological link to anyone else related to the person. Blood is used in all scopes of magic, and witchcraft.

Blood is the most valuable of all the bodily fluids in Magic. Blood resembles birth, life, and Death. The living substance of a human being and the life force which keeps you alive and connected. In the animal kingdom, blood is the most significant signal to survival, indication there is food around. It attracts predators, and attracts other animals to help, because blood can indicate trouble and vulnerability. Spiritually, blood is seen in religious settings as purity, and in other religious scenes is a sign of demons and undesirable forces.

Though blood is a very dangerous substance to be around especially if it it not yours, take precaution and keep things sanitized. When using your own blood, always considered everyone related to you, though you can speak intentions to only include yourself in a spell, or spell work. Consider children if applicable when using blood, when spell work back fires, it can back fire on the children.

This is most important when people curse their significant others whom they have children with. The children are part of that DNA and blood line. You can possible harm people related to your significant other's family unintentionally. Blood from your hands, in magic, symbolizes goal you intent to achieve yourself and keep under you own control.

It assumes you control the ends as well as the means when in an offering, binding, blessing, or cursing. Blood from your fingers, in magic, symbolizes passive magic, such as a touch to lure in an enemy or lover. This is the safest way to curse, especially if you draw blood from the middle finger; which is socially derogatory.

Blood from the nose, in magic, symbolizes revenge, and cursing. This blood is mostly brought upon by violence, and the blood born in pain is to send the same pain upon another person. Blood from Menstruation, in magic, symbolizes persuasion. This blood is in the biological cycle of the female biology, and this blood is created from unborn children. It is used the most in love spells, rituals, and court cases.

Blood can be ingested, buried, carried, or used in spiritual baths. It can be a dressing for candles, crystals, and magical tools such as Athames. Blood is placed on the head of warriors in some cultures to intimate an enemy. Blood of enemies is drank after defeat as a symbol of controlling the spirit of the defeated. The use of animal blood is a substitute for human blood.

The art of sacrifice is to atone Karma, or manifest your intentions to come to pass as death will come to pass for everyone. Your blood holds all of your memories, your past, but in the wrong hands can disrupt your future. I am guessing you may be a little more careful with your around blood now! What are your thoughts?
