Magic Series: Episode 5- Food

How can food be magical? Just kidding, I think you may already know! Food can be magical in so many ways. Just like the herbs we used in rituals and the oils me create, food and the things we eat can invoke magical intentions. First decide on your intention, and decide WHO will be eating the food. If you are looking to strengthen love between family members, prepare a magical dinner for them, and yourself.

Second, decide on the ingredients, of course. This is where knowledge of herbs and spices and fruits will come into play. Even for beginner cooks, start with simple things, and be mindful of allergies. It is well known that Cinnamon, Mint, and Rose Water all invoke feelings and energies of love and support. Then add in your favorite things and get creative with your intention.

Thirdly, when mixing or stirring the ingredients, this is when you begin spell words, prayers, incantations, and your visualization ritual. The words spoken over the food before cooking will be absorbed. This can be done when trying to bring people together, but it also works when trying to create discord.

Preparing food for an enemy is not uncommon, so keep that in mind when people bring food to your home, and they don't eat any of it; pay attention. This is one of the best ways to serve magic undercover. This works particularly well if you are a chef; so be nice to the chefs at the restaurants from now on.

Because their energy is transmuted to your plate. Lastly, food divination, if you are preparing a meal for a boss or a partner put your most positive energy in the food, and if it comes out great, that foretells thing working out wonderfully. But if it burns, it tells of things falling apart sooner or later. Keep this food for thought!
