Magic Series: Episode 9- Kaftans

Kaftans, magical? Yes! Just like any robe or dress worn during magical rituals, kaftans are just as magical. The idea of expressing colors, patterns and symbols onto your clothing a powerful way to capture magic!

Ever wonder why sports teams, and political officials wear uniformed clothing? Well, their uniform serves a purpose and this is how we recognize them as a group.

Certain colors and designs are subconsciously embedded in us to know what these uniforms mean. Such as judges, cops, referees, and etc. In earlier centuries tribes and nations were recognized by the way they dress.

More so, ceremonial dress and the dress of political, royal, or spiritual leadership! These dresses invoked the honor, respect, or fear they intended from the people or persons they were meant to encounter! In earlier centuries these garments were blessed, cleansed, and protected.

They were often kept away from other pieces of clothing, such as today as we wear our formal wear, or Sunday best! Kaftans are a spiritual tools to ceremonies, rituals, and special occasions. This form of dress was meant to carry with it a sacred vibe, or power!

The wearing of these garments can be seen all around the world! Although they are common, as a simple line of fashion, its' original intent was to be distinguishable from the crowd!
