Magical Collaborations - With Professional Photographer Kristin Hickman

What can I tell you about this!? Well, it was magic from the start. A longer episode but worth every beautiful moment of conversation. Little did Kristin and I know what we would be doing months after this podcast recording.  I think it's only fair that I tell you the whole story. Kristin asked if she could bring her daughter Ruby over to our studio for her 12th birthday as a gift. The morning they were set to come over I messaged Kristin saying she should also draw a portrait along with Ruby and I. She of course said yes. After that afternoon they continued to work on their artworks over the weekend, and sent me progress shots. I was floored at how AMAZING their pieces were, I showed everyone I knew! I thought wow: I have to teach this to all the people I can, what a beautiful gift! Kristin was so over the moon about reconnecting to her creativity and said that drawing her portrait was all she could think about. A day later I messaged Kristin saying we needed to capture this.
