Magna Carta | Stoned Studies
from First Bake Hosted by Bad Pants Media
“No free man is to be arrested, or imprisoned, or disseised, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any other way ruined, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.” In the midst of these unprecedented times, it’s important to remember the mistakes that have been made in the past. The events that led up to the June 1215 signing of “The Great Charter” are a great reminder that no one person is above the law. Daniel and Mark are on the road to Runnymede on this debut episode of Stoned Studies! We meet some Henry’s, a Dick, and their shitty brother John, and learn how their ruthless dynasty led to what many scholars refer to as “The Birth of Liberty”.
