President John Dramani Mahama has dissolved the boards of nine major state institutions with immediate effect, in a move that has sparked fresh conversations about changes within Ghana's public sector.The affected institutions include GNPC, BOST, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), VALCO, Ghana Post, TDC, the National Sports Authority, Prestea Sankofa Gold and the Road Maintenance Trust Fund.The Presidency says new boards will be constituted in due course, but no specific reason was given for the dissolution.Support the show
