Maia Wilson: Northern Mystics shooter on the Netball NZ-owned ANZ Premiership teams being told their contracts won't be renewed

Concern from Mystics shooter Maia Wilson after the latest blow delivered to three Netball New Zealand-owned ANZ Premiership franchises.  Staff at the Stars, Magic, and Tactix have been told their contracts will not be renewed.  The implication to players remains unclear, as does the competition's future.  Wilson told Mike Hosking the Players Association is trying to get into the bargaining room with all the other parties – Netball NZ in particular.  She says there’s a decent alignment between the players and teams from what she’s been told, but there’s still uncertainty at the moment.   LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
