Main Session 02

Main Session 02 from our FIRST LOVED: Winter Retreat 2021! Josh Brown teaches through the text in Isaiah 53 looking at the suffering of Messiah, highlighting the lengths that Christ went for us to demonstrate His love for us! FIRST LOVED: Winter Retreat 2021 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:18-19 NKJV) As believers, we know and understand that God loves us, but often we struggle to live in the daily reality of God’s love for us! Over the Winter Retreat, we focused on the truth that God loved us first. It is this love that has been first communicated and shown to man that leads us to the realisation that we love Him simply in response to His love for us. And when we experience His love and love Him in return, there is a freedom and self-abandonment that comes in loving God.
