Main Street, USA Happy Place Escape

Hello and Welcome back to the Model Shop Podcast! My name is Fio, and I’ll be your host as we explore the early days of Walt Disney Imagineering. We’ll get to know some imagineers, experience extinct attractions, and always be on the look out for extra Pixie Dust! And today, it is Pixie Dust time! Disneyland is so important to so many people because it offers and escape from the rest of the world. However, even though I definitely wish I could, I can’t always be in my happy place. But I can always bring my happy place to me and to you! How can I do that, you ask? A completely immersive moment of meditation in which you can just let everything else disappear because you are in Disneyland! (or at least it sounds like it). For the first episode in this new series, we’ll be taking a stroll down Main Street, USA.
