Your midday Maine weather update Three special weather statements are in effect across Maine this Memorial Day weekend, warning about dangerously cold water temperatures despite the warm air. Those lake and river temperatures are sitting in the mid-50s, which can quickly lead to hypothermia if you fall in. Starting this morning, we're at 48 degrees, but temperatures will climb nicely to 61 by noon.
