Maisie Williams on Arya Stark Return | Durham News

Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, is surprised but open to the idea of returning to the role as HBO explores a new project centered on her character. Reflecting on her early twenties as a turbulent time shaped by leaving the show, navigating identity, and global upheaval, she admits the transition was tough — but also relatable. Meanwhile, Kit Harington, who portrayed Jon Snow, shared that while he’s intrigued by revisiting his character, no compelling story emerged for a sequel series. As HBO expands the Game of Thrones universe with spinoffs and a movie, the future of Westeros remains uncertain — but fans are watching closely.
