Majay Thompson Commits to Florida State

Majay Thompson, a blazing-fast 5-foot-11, 181-pound wide receiver from Crest High School, just committed to Florida State — a huge win for the Seminoles as they build their 2027 class. Once heavily pursued by Alabama, Wake Forest, and especially Georgia, Thompson’s big-play ability makes him a top-tier target. Ranked 69th among wide receivers and 628th overall, he’s the 17th-best player from North Carolina and now the 11th commit in FSU’s 2027 class, currently ranked 57th nationally. While Georgia still has strong momentum with other top recruits like Ta’Shawn Poole and Antwan McKoy, FSU’s latest addition signals a serious push toward elite status.
