Major Freeman, Siena men's basketball leading scorer, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Major played high school basketball at Archer high school in Atlanta, Georgia. A four year starter at Archer HS took the JUCO route out of high school. Major played two years for Spartanburg Methodist in South Carolina. In both years, Spartanburg won over 20 games with Major as the starting guard. In his second year, the sophomore averaged over 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Freeman was recruited by over 40 Division 1 schools after his JUCO career concluded. In the summer of '24, Major committed to Siena college to play under first year head coach Gerry McNamara. Siena is currently 5-7 (1-1 MAAC) with Major leading the team in scoring (14.3).
