Major Medical Misconception #4 - Conventional Colonoscopies Are Better Than Virtual Colonoscopies

This is a good one. Bottom line, gastroenterologists are against virtual colonoscopies because they think it takes business away from them. Primary care physicians don't routinely support virtuals because they don't know much about them and therefore defer to the gastroenterologists. This leaves 33% of us getting a conventional colonoscopy, and approximately 66% of us not getting any colon screening for bunches of reasons.
