Major Update for Jamaican Business Owners: Beneficial Ownership

Shellie Leon, CEO of the Companies Office of Jamaica joins us in studio to talk about a major change for Jamaican business owners. Beneficial ownership legislation is changing, so business owners will have some additional documentation to file in order to be in compliance. These amendments will provide greater transparency, which is a major factor in Jamaica’s move to get off the Financial Action Task Force’s grey list.
