Make a U Turn (Matthew 3)

As Isaiah 40:3 predicted long ago, John the Baptist is in the wilderness of Judea preaching and Baptising. Preparing the way for the Messiah.John is telling people who have made the long journey into the wilderness “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near”.God was drawing people away from the busyness of life in the cities and towns to a quiet place with little distraction to tell them this amazing news. Repent. Stop now and make a U turn. Turn from your self-focused life and pursue God instead. Why? Because King Jesus is near!
