This evening, we have an extra edition of Moorlands Sport Extra in association with Leek Building Society out for our listeners. We are celebrating Port Vale’s promotion from League Two and Abbey Hulton United winning the North West Counties 1st division South playoffs. From Port Vale, we speak to our resident Vale reporter Mike Stubbs, who made the journey to Wimbledon to watch the game. We also hear his interviews with Vale co-owner Carol Shanahan and forward Jayden Stockley following the Wimbledon win. Meanwhile, Abbey Hulton United defeated Stafford Town to win promotion in the North West Counties Football League.
